±0.008 mm
Mold cavity accuracy — general CNC cavity machining. This is steel tool accuracy, not the finished part.
Most supplier websites promise the same precision and the same "state-of-the-art" facility. We chose the opposite: every number on this site has a defined scope and a real record behind it — including the results that don't flatter us. That honesty is not a weakness. It is the fastest way for a serious buyer to know we can be trusted with a real project.
A factory can claim 500 machines or ±0.005 mm overnight by editing a webpage. It cannot produce a certificate number, a named Cpk study, or a four-layer tolerance scope that a buyer can independently check. That kind of evidence takes years to build and discipline to maintain — which is exactly why it is the safest signal a buyer has.
We publish actual process-capability readings — Cpk 1.24 on a medical LSR diaphragm seal (LSR-MED-007) and Cpk 1.32 on an FVMQ turbocharger seal (FVMQ-SEAL-010) — with the part, dimension, sample size and measuring system named. We state openly when a reading sits below the common 1.33 target instead of hiding it.
See the Cpk studies →We never publish one floating "precision" figure. We separate mold accuracy, seal-feature accuracy, instrument resolution and finished-part tolerance into four clearly scoped layers — because they describe four different physical objects, and a single number hides where scrap and rework live.
See the four layers →Business license, export records, ISO 9001 no. 067918QR1, a named 261-person workforce, the ISO Class 7 cleanroom report CR-2026-0714, and a named equipment list. None of it requires taking our word for it.
See what to verify →The single biggest source of precision confusion in silicone sourcing is one supplier quoting a number without saying what it refers to. Here is the four-layer scope we publish, and what each number actually means.
Mold cavity accuracy — general CNC cavity machining. This is steel tool accuracy, not the finished part.
Seal / gate features — cold-runner LSR shut-off and gate positions only, cut by slow-wire EDM in S136 / NAK80 steel.
Measuring instrument — our CNC video measuring machine resolution. This is how finely we can check, not a part tolerance.
Finished part tolerance — the honest dimensional tolerance of molded silicone, size dependent. Silicone is flexible.
These four numbers are not interchangeable, and comparing them across suppliers is meaningless unless each side states its scope. A supplier who reports a single precision figure without saying whether it is the mold, a seal feature, the measuring instrument or the finished part is leaving you to fill in the gap — and the gap is where rework and scrap hide. See the full breakdown in engineering evidence.
Honesty is not a slogan — it is a set of specific, observable behaviors. Here is how it shows up at every stage of a CYES project.
| Stage | Common supplier behavior | How CYES does it |
|---|---|---|
| Quoting precision | One headline tolerance, scope never stated | Four-layer scope, each number tied to what it refers to |
| Capability data | "Cpk > 1.33" claimed, no study shown | Measured Cpk 1.24 and 1.32, part and sample size named |
| Below-target results | Hidden, or re-tested until the number looks better | Reported honestly, followed by a documented corrective loop |
| Certifications | Logos without numbers | Certificate numbers (ISO 9001 067918QR1, cleanroom CR-2026-0714) |
| Equipment | "State-of-the-art facility" | Named machines — HAITIAN, YIZUMI, ENGEL, MAKINO, Mitsubishi, ZEISS |
| Scope limits | Never admitted | Stated — e.g. the cleanroom is one zone, not the whole plant |
The through-line is the same: a supplier who is honest about one below-target Cpk reading, one scoped cleanroom claim or one named machine list is more likely to be honest about everything else — pricing, lead times, material substitutions and defects. That consistency is what a buyer is really paying for.
Honesty works both ways. We are not the biggest silicone factory in Dongguan, and we will not pretend to be. If your project needs very large solid-silicone consumer goods with high tonnage, a larger high-volume specialist may be a better fit — and we will say so. Being clear about where we are strong (and where we are not) is how we earn the projects where we genuinely are the best choice.
Telling you this is exactly the point. We would rather lose a quote we are not the best fit for than win one on a number we cannot back — because the second kind is where rework, disputes and broken trust come from.
Everything below has a number, a document or a live channel you can use to confirm it. None of it requires taking our word for it.
| What to verify | CYES evidence | How you can check |
|---|---|---|
| Registered factory | Business license, export records, 261-person workforce | Request license & export data; match to a live video walkthrough |
| Quality system | ISO 9001 no. 067918QR1 (valid 2026-06-20 to 2029-06-19) | Confirm the number with the issuing body |
| Medical cleanroom | ISO Class 7, third-party report CR-2026-0714 | Request the redacted report |
| Process capability | Cpk 1.24 (LSR-MED-007) and Cpk 1.32 (FVMQ-SEAL-010), n=50 sample data | Review study details under NDA |
| Material compliance | FDA / LFGB / RoHS / REACH / PFAS / USP Class VI reports | Request batch-specific reports |
| Social compliance | SEDEX SMETA / BSCI social audit | Request the audit report |
