Startup Silicone Product Development

From a photo, sketch or sample to a validated, shelf-ready silicone product — one engineering team owns the whole journey, starting at 100 pieces. And because our market and product teams track what's trending, you get professional advice on which products are worth building, not just a factory quote.

Built for Early-Stage Teams

Why Startups Choose CYES

Most factories are tuned for buyers who already have finished drawings and big budgets. A startup rarely does. You have an idea, maybe a rough sketch or a photo of a competitor's product — and a need to prove it works without betting everything on tooling. That is exactly the starting point we are built for.

No CAD? No Problem

We rebuild production-ready 3D files from photos, sketches and physical samples — so you never need to hire a designer or learn CAD first.

Low Upfront Risk

Soft tooling and rapid prototyping let you test form, fit and function before you commit to production steel — capital stays small until the product is proven.

Validation Included

EVT, DVT and PVT are documented, not just promised — so your first production run ships with evidence you can show investors and retailers.

The Startup Journey

Six Capabilities That Take You From Idea to Shelf

Each step de-risks the next, so you only spend more as the product proves itself.

1

Reverse Engineering From Photos, Sketches & Samples

Start with whatever you have — a hand sketch, a phone photo, a competitor reference or a physical sample. We use blue-light 3D scanning and clean CAD reconstruction to turn it into a manufacturable part with fully defined surfaces and tolerances, then run a DFM review and recommend the right silicone grade.

2

CAD Design & Mold Development

In-house high-speed CNC (MAKINO 24,000 RPM), mirror and slow-wire EDM machine mold cavities in P20 / NAK80 / S136 steel to ±0.01 mm. Cold-runner LSR tooling reaches ±0.005 mm — so your design intent survives from CAD straight into the mold.

3

Rapid Prototyping & Soft Tooling

Before steel, prove the product with the fastest route that fits your goal: SLA/DLP resin printing for form and fit, vacuum casting from a silicone mold for near-production feel, or a fast aluminum mold for small-batch samples in real silicone. Soft tooling keeps your first iteration cheap and fast.

4

EVT, DVT & PVT Validation

We carry the product through the three validation gates — Engineering Validation Test, Design Validation Test and Process Validation Test — documenting each phase with FAI, Cpk and inspection data. You launch with proof, not promises.

5

Silicone & Plastic Combination Design

Many winning products are hybrids. In-house engineering-plastic injection (HAITIAN + Liansheng) and silicone overmolding bond silicone onto PC, ABS, PP, PA66, PBT and metal inserts — designed as one integrated part, not two glued together.

Market Insight & Professional Product Advice

Our market and product teams track emerging product trends and stay sensitive to what could become the next breakout hit. That means you get more than manufacturing — you get opinionated, professional guidance on material choice, feature trade-offs and which products are worth betting on before you spend on tooling. It is the kind of input that turns a small idea into a shelf-ready winner.
